Beer in dominacian republic

they got your basic shit at the resorts, if thats where your staying. There main beer though is El Presidente, tastes like piss though

Yeah Presidente is shit. But thats the domestic stuff.

You can still get plenty of other beers there though, so no dramas.

You may or may not like Rum, but try out Mt. Gay rum when you are over there - it's probably the best rum in the world.

Ive spent a month over there because half the country is my family~ Presidente is the beer of choice for most over there~ I honestly dont like it but thats just me~ I was in Santo Domingo and you could get most the beers you would get over here and mind you I was not staying at a resort~ As a word of warning, try not to get in trouble~ Not just with the police, with anyone~ There are some sketchy ass people there and they pack shotguns just to gaurd parkinglots~ The police, depending on who you meet can either be nice, are extreme assholes~ Theres no inbetween~ And they also have huge guns~ Theres no pussy handgun shit over there~ When I was over they just passed a new law that says that reasturants cant serve alchohol past 12 so keep that in mind if you going out~ Besides that, the people are nice there and if you find a mango tree I would highly suggest coping a fruit when you pass it~ That would be all

never been to the Dominican, but they might have Redstripe, a really nice Jamaican beer.  on of my most favorite beers.

went to Puerto Plata. took the public buss down to cabarrete and it was the biggest joke ever! haha i was like hanging out the door and we counted 24 people in that shitter of a mini-van, where there was maximum 12 seats. really cool learning expierience tho. never been to a 3rd world country before that. i was staying in hotels obviously. i was 16 haha

yea i went to punta cana also. me my brother and dad took a bus through the middle of the island to get to the other side and go snorkeling at this other small island, driving through sugar cane fields, and through villages and houses literally made out of mud. We stopped at this one village to give away clothes, and these other dumbass tourists on the bus started throwing dollar bills out the window, and within 1 minute we were swarmed by like 30 kids. I thought some shit was gonna go down but remembered the bus driver kept his gun handy.
