I have a pair of the salomon spk kaos, and was wondering is there really a big difference in park boots compared to regular boots?

get regular boots if you enjoy skiing outside the park for the most part i mean on the eastcoast its not as much difference cause the terrain isnt steep but on steeper terrain and stuff stiffer boots help a lot. id say if you ski more than 70% park in the average day around go for some park boots

there is actually a big difference between the two boots. park boots are a lot softer and less stiff than regular boots. regular boots are a lot less forgiving and are ment to keep u forward. also regular boots are not ment to take the impact of constantly landing jumps. if u ski the park i wud get park boots.

Its not any easier to ride park or sesh rails in a "park" boot than it is in a traditional ski boot. As long as you are in a boot that is the proper fit, with a flex that is right for you, you will be fine.
