thinking of transfering there, i go to plymouth state now. just wondering if anyone knows if theres parties and stuff since it was founded by mormons and guessing its probably a mormon school and pretty sure they dont drink. idk let me know

I don't go there, but I applied. This has been asked before, and yes there are parties and all that. "You just gotta find them" and all that kinda shit.

I don't think it has that huge of a mormon pop anymore, most of the mormons go to another school in Utah (forgot the name). The skiings is supposed to be sick. but i don't know much more. i know someone who went there a couple years ago, hes basically a ski bum.

I just got in there a few weeks ago.. i'm a senior in highschool. I think i'm gonna try and go visit during march, I've never visited before but I'd really like to see the campus / parties / skiing and shit.

i wanted to apply to boulder too but i got mad lazy with their application and never sent it in.

oh ill tell you right now we drink at the U, just as much as any other school. you don't really see any mormons that don't drink and there are a couple really cool ones too but only a couple (they are on NS) the rest that ive met are kinda faggish but you don't really see them too often because they hang out with their own crowd. dont worry we know how to have pretty good time out here.

HAHAHAHAHA...
just cause we're in salt lake doesn't mean that we're all mormon and don't party. i'm not at the U, but I have a lot of friends up there. There are a ton of cool people up there, some douche bags, pretty interesting people. there are parties. there is skiing. and salt lake also has a pretty good music scene. also, the U is actually a pretty good school, and has a high acceptance rate

I asked Tom Wallisch that same question and he said theres actually a good party scene out there it just takes a while to get into.

But I'm a power drinking champion so I don't think it would take me long to get into any party scene.  More than a month that is.
