Im aussuming that you mean a 5mm difference in boots soles, in which case YES it means a lot. Take your boots and skis to your local shop and get an adjustment by techs that know what they are doing.
I just got new boots, size 27.5, and they won't fit in my old bindings. I've adjusted the travel to max., but I'm still off by a few mm.s My old boot size was a 26.5, so I assume I should just remount them. However, I am going to get these skis replaced under warranty at the end of this season, so it may not be worth it to remount. I can always use my old boots for a bit. What do you think? is it worth it?
