Universities In Colorado

Ok, so I'm only a Freshman in High School, but we took an online test thing that recommended careers, and mine was an "Engineering Phyisicist".  It proceeded to go on with boxes you could check with things like tuition price, school size, competition to get in etc. etc.  Well, I only had 2 colleges suggested to me, and they were University of Colorado Fort Collins, and University Of Colorado At Boulder.  Which mountains are these colleges close to? Which has a better environment (anybody go to these?).  Which is closest to a mountain/resort. +K  for helpful replies!!

Theres not much of a question here, its CU. Along with generally better academics we have bigger parties, better looking girls, better sports, better clubs, and a much better ski scene. Driving to the mountains from fort collins is about 3-4 hours on a good day while from boulder its 1.5-2 hours. Visit both the schools a little later in high school, it'll be pretty clear which school youd rather go to, good luck.

boulder is a really sick school. herd really good things about it. im s sophomore and im looking into university of denver for cinemontagraphy and film. go to collegeboard.com and you can find all the stuff you need to know.

Yeah CU is excellent for engineering. Its a school for what you put in you get out. I.E. you could party every night and that'd be your thing. Or you can go for honors etc... It could be easier or as hard as you want it to be. But it is a very good school.

Skiing ain't to far away. I don't know how all these kids bitch about denver being so far away from the mountains. I can get from denver to Winter park in an hour, tops. 1:20 to key or abay.

But it might be a little further from Boulder.

Boulder is a sweet place, great vibe, dont know exact times but seems real close to mtns i know its like 1 1/2 2 hrs to keystone, abasin, echo, etc from denver/aurora.  i was actually going to go to CU until i realized i didnt want to do what i was going to school for.

Boulder for sure, they had a great Engineering school, like very good, and of course are known for partys and skiing and boulder its self is a great place

colorado is amazing... boulder is where i am looking at going for college... i heard its sickk and you can ski like almost everyday

yea i live in wisco too and im a junior, i was thinking about FLC or CU but it depends if i want to get into Piloying or not

CU BOULDER.
although it's a big school, it's a very good school.
it's not too far from skiing, but 1-70 traffic can be super bad if you don't watch it.
also, if engineering is what you really want to go into, and you have good grades, there's the school of mines in Golden

I go to CSU in Fort Collins.  Atmosphere is really legit but it does take longer to get to the mountains than CU.  Plus the ski scene here is horrible.  Access to Abasin, Keystone, Breck, Vail, Copper, Beaver Creek, Loveland, and a few others.  CSU does have a slightly better engineering program than CU and its cheaper.

if you're really into math and science, and you think you might want to be an engineer check out http://mines.edu. i go there (here? haha its no grammer school...) and i enjoy most of the classes i have, like calculus, physics, and chemistry. in regards to the test you took, being an engineering physicist would be really intense, and a hard path to take.
