i used to get bang in my dalbellos i got the full tilt booters and it was like bang be gone.
have not had a single problem since.
Dont mean to jack the thread, but what is shinbang? Ive seen it in alot of threads lately, and I have no clue what it is.
Best thing for shinbang is arch supports, wear them in everyhting, running shoes work boots or what ever you wear day to day, not fucking around i used to get the worst shin bang ever it was gone in two weeks after using arch supports, and still haven't gotten it in 5 years.
Yeah, I just switched to FT booters from SPKs. The SPKs fit me absolutely horribly, and i got the worst shinbang. switching over to FT, my shinbang basically stopped because the full tilts actually fit me really well (unlike the SPKs). so they dont have magical powers or anything, it really depends on how they fit. maybe theyll fit you and your shinbang will disapear, but maybe they wont fit you at all and your shinbang will be really bad.... FTs arent a magical solution for everyone haha. go to a bootfitter
The main thing is that you need a boot that fits your foot shape. I switched to Full Tilt Hot Doggers because I have flat feet and the heat moldable liner works with my foot. So if it fits your foot the right way it should reduce shinbang. My dad had the same problem and he switched to Full Tilt BumbleBee Pros ( he doesnt ski park just recreational) and loves them because they fit nice. Well as far as I know skiers with flat feet haha.
But over all FT is nasty boot company
K, sorry, I'm a n00b, don't know how to quote, but...
1st, to the kid who asked about what is shin bang
Contrary to popular belief, shinbang is pain in the shins (obviously) from a couple of things. Yes, like people have been saying, shinbang can result from your shins slamming into the front of your boots and bruising the shin; however, what I find is a more common cause of shinbang is landing backseat or crashing in a way in which you are pulled back. What happens is that as you crash or land backseet, you're tib and fib and the rest of your lower leg wants to move back with your body, but your feet, being locked in the boot, holds your ankle and whatnot in place. So, as a result, your shin bends and splinters a little causing a sharp pain that we like to call shin bang. What a Fulltilt boot does is it has a flex patter, and a fit that locks your lower leg into the boot and doesn't allow room or flex movement for the shin to bend and that eliminates the shinbang
2nd, to the poster
While Fulltilt may claim to eliminate shinbang, I personally found the best way to eliminate it is to stop relying on a boot and to land you're shit square on your feet like you're supposed to.
