Quickest way to make 500$ without dealing drugs?

So my friend cheech wants me to go to mammoth to film, and I need 300$ for the plane ticket and I'm thinking like 200$ extra for food and shit... any ideas on how to make 500$ really fast? Oh ya I already started selling all my stuff like I needed heroine money or something...

Find and HVAC company, ask them for old transformers they replaced on construction sites.  They are always throwing them out where my dad works because its too much work to get the copper out of, lots of cutting and smashing, but they have good amounts of copper each.
