Find me Fischer 2010 skis!

You are trying to get them warrantied just for topsheet chipping?  Every ski chips.  It's strictly cosmetic and doesn't affect the ski performance in any way.  Suck it up and realize that every ski is gonna get blemishes.   Why care about what the topsheet looks like, just ski the damn things.

This is why companies have to set so many rules and restrictions on their warranties, because people try and get bogus things warrantied.

i guess i didnt go into detail. huge chunks or coming off, like very large chunks and i have skied them maybe 6 times. everytime i get on the lift more and more of the top sheet it missing. I almost have hardly hit the park in them. Fischer does say in their warranty "excessive chipping is covered" and the rep says that it deffinitely should be and definitely should be warrantied.

I guess you have different views on this stuff, but if i get a ski that falling apart after a couple days of use, i want them fixed. If it were my second year year or so on them, i would expect chipping, but its only been a few days

agreed.... it sucks but probably won't get warrantied by Fischer.

The people i bought them from agree they should definitely be covered

I don't know about you guys, but i don't pay for expensive skis just to have them start falling apart after a couple runs. so please don't tell me im stupid or whiny

Notice how it's on the inside edges?  It seems you are crossing your skis and eating them up with your edges.  I'm saying this cause look how it seems to be shaved down from your inside edge.  More control would probably have prevented this.  No ski is gonna hold up to a sharp edge slicing it apart.  This just happens.

The other side looks ok, so I think the culprit might very well be your edges.  If it was the construction of the ski, why is it not happening on the other side?  And your skis are not falling apart.  Chipping is not important to the structure of the ski unless it starts exposing the core or it actually delams.  To say your skis are falling apart after 6 days is wrong.

i said that was a little part of the skis, if you look at my skis as a whole, there is some very big chippings up on the shovel and all the way down, inside edge and outside.

And i have been skiing for 14 years, i have also had various skis, but never had this problem. I also know that i am in control and when im hauling ass, my legs are atleast shoulder width apart. Also, that large chip is very close to the front of my binding, so your saying im basically crossing my skis in the middle. When would i ever do that?

The skis are breaking up, every time i get on the lift more comes off. i know how i ski and i know that i couldnt possibly be chipping this all up, even with an occasional pizza wedge.
