So i bought some px12s off of a member on ns, but the set showed up missing one toe piece. Is it possible to put a different toe piece (salomon 914) with the look heel?

i´ve never tried that out but you should def get in contact w/the member who sold you these bindings. where you aware about the missing toe piece? or did he just sold you the bindings and then shipped out with a missing toe piece??

Sorry I'll be a little less vague. You can't do that because the bindings were not meant to be used together. Heel and toe pieces are engineered together, to work together and to release together. Different binding companies use different mechanisms in their bindings, therefore making release pressures/directions/processes incompatible.
In short, if you try to do that, your bindings will not release you when they should, or they might not hold you in when they should.

There would likely be differences in correct ramp angle/toe height etc as well

ahh shit, thanks for the quick replies though!
and ya, i bought them off a member expecting a full set but the box showed up beaten and i guess one of the toes got 'lost' in the process. apparently a replacement is coming, but its been almost 3 weeks :(
