My point is you will not grow intellectually (the reason you spend all that money and time not working) if you party friday, saturday, sunday, tuesday, and thursday (which is what that kid did in the video).

I went to a top 15 party school my freshman year, and I saw so many kids claim, like you, that you could "get in the full experience" only to crash and burn when finals rolled around.

If you can get by with a ton partying, all the power to you.  In 95% of cases, however, if you view college as a means of partying (as opposed to a means to grow your mind and prepare yourself for the workforce) you are wasting your time and money because you won't get a lot out of your classes.

yea, its pretty much just like this.  im graduating soon so dont listen to those nerds ^^  I usually drink 3-4 nights a week and go to the library 4 times a week.  The nights I do both are usually the most productive, but I dont drink much on those.
And if youre not in college yet it probably wont be like this right away.  when youre 2-3 years in and know tons of people thats when it gets good.  Join your ski club if they have one.  best decision of my life

I agree, I think its the sam with kids asking, "Where is the best place to go to college and ski." I party during the weekends, some thursdays, and thats about it. And lately, I haven't even been able to do that cause Im so busy. As far as skiing. I choose to stay in atlanta to get a good, almost free education, and then ski aftwerwards. I think people need to go to college to get an education, then ski bum before or after.

If you can't learn how to have fun, and do work, you're going to suck at life.  sure their is more than partying in college, but there is this other thing called life that you really learn about in school.  and being a dumbass and making mistakes makes you a lot wiser in the long run.

And if you don't know how to pony up and kick ass at work or school the next day, learn.  It's easy to get all your work done by 8 at night, have fun till 12 or 1, and then be on your game at 9 the next morning.  Most people do.  Or they sit at home and watch tv.

A few weeks ago I went back to my old school for a lil event called winter carnival.  I drank from 10 am till 730 the next morning straight.  My little brother came to pick me up (he's a senior in highschool, I'm a senior in college) at 9 the next day to go skiing, and when he came in there were two girls in their underwear with me, and I was plowed still.  I got up, drank some coffe and skied my ass off until he told me he was tired.

then i told him to go home, and started having fun again.  You learn how to do that sort of thing in college.  It's called life skills.  Sure some people take school seriousley, but the smartest people I know  (now working for the U.S. government, mechanical engineers, and a kid who works now for M.I.T. doing research) are the hardest partiers I know.  Because they learned how to deal with the consequences of their actuions, and also how to manage time.

the point is your supposed to have fun at school.  your young and stupid once, get it out of your system so when your older your not socially inept, boring, or having a midlife breakdown when you realized you played it safe your whole life.

Don't skip class, and don't skip parties, or adventures or anything.  You guys will figure it out, it might take a few trys, but holding back is one of the worst mistakes you can make.

oh for sure.  but i forgot to tell the rest of the story when my little brother whose moving to go to school here with me told me he didn't think he could handle my life style.  he won't at first, but by the time he's my age he'll slay harder than I do.  most of you kids will.

Hey, like I said, all the power to you.  I just hope you realize most people won't be able to party every night of the week and still get a lot out of their classes.  I think you might find if you partied less you would get more out of your classes as well.

I never said don't party.  Just don't get sucked into partying every night of the week.  Unless you go to a ridiculously easy school or have a really easy major/semester you will most likely crash and burn, or not get a lot out of your classes.

college isnt that great, the parties around here are a who is the most chill contest. if you arent being super serious, trying to look cool, and dont look like your bored and depressed as fuck, people hate on you.

BULLSHIT!!! noone ever said their life REVOLVES around drinking and weed. This is just a tight vid that does a great job reflecting how party's and shit are in college. If you cant ski hungover or whatever thats your problem, most people can and its their decision weather thet party or not.
