I'd say center mount if you mainly just ski park and groomers, it'll also be alright in pow you just have to lean back alittle bit when riding so the nose doesn't dip
"I had my Chronics mounted 2cm back from center, feels pretty good all around."
doesn't that mess with the flex pattern tho
No. Flex patterns can be fucked around with as much as you want, all personal preference when it comes to park for skis.
In reference to your earlier post about pow, it will affect your pow no matter what. Shouldn't be a huge problem though, I can ski pow well enough on park skis, but not nearly as well as on my S5s. Mounting at -2 or so won't really hurt park performance too much either though. Really up to you how you want to do it, but if you ski pretty much nothing other than groomers and park I would center them.
However...
If you ski rails, jumps, pipe and groomers as you say then centermount.
Also, I would like to clear a few things up. People are saying that their skiing is not being affected by a centermount. This is not true. Park skiing becomes better and all mountain becomes more difficult. If it doesn't change anything or improves all around its because you tailgun and therefore need to take a lesson.
And it should not be referred to as traditional backseat mount because it does nothing but the opposite of put you backseat. "traditional mount" will suffice.
