Replying to Anyone that's had 1080's and now has Full Tilts

I have size 28.5 1080's that after 5 years have effectively, shit the bed. I have been eyeing full tilts for a while and tried on 29's which were way too big. I measured my foot for a 27 or 10.5 shoe. Anyone else in about this size range that can tell me how the full tilts fit? Please don't tell me to go try them on because the closest shop that carries them is over 6 hours away. You would think a shop in CNY, most ski "resorts" in the US, would have full tilts.
