Salomon Online Jib Academy Round 2 Top 5

hey everyone,

The top 5 videos from Round 2 of the Salomon Online Jib Academy have been decided. The new judging format is that you, the NS community, will decide the top 5, which will then go to a panel of judges made up of Salomon team members and staff, who will decide who the winner of this round is and announce it on March 1st.

So without further ado, here are the top 5 finalists for Round 2...

What's the rule for people who have won previous jib academy finals? Alex Bellemare went to Mammoth last year, if he's still elligible, this is just the craziest opportunity for him, he's just too good

To anyone complaining how Alex is on Armada, just remember how Henrik got invited to mammoth when martini won while he was under contract with scott.

good observation, but isn't it still a bit weird to be invited by salomon for such a huge event with cameras everywhere with a sponsership from armada? However I still think Alex should and deserves to win it

Well if you are going off of NS ratings it appears to be Seamus on top, with the top 2 spots. Since it RAINED in MN everything turned to junk. For the fact that he didnt want to put out another edit due to conditions, I dont blame him. Why would you want to put anything but you "best foot" forward. It doesnt change his skiing, personality and drive to want to win the contest.

THERE ARE NO STOPS REMOTELY CLOSE TO MN. THIS KID DESERVES THIS.

Yes Alex might have outerwear and skis with Armada but I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting Salomon boots and bindings. Not because he has some Armada gear that he shouldn't be going. I vote him.

Seamus.. you own for your age. When you are sixteen, entering a contest like this will be a joke because you'll have full contracts with the company that makes every piece of clothing on you, but right now Aidan or Alex needs to go. Both insanely well rounded skiers.

I'm willing to bet anything on that one, from a pair of dirty ski socks to all the nmoney i have cause I know I am right.


That being said, I ski with alex on a weeklybasis and everyweek, he just make me feel like I,m way too old to ski with him. I mean come on, he can play green graass and high tide onrockband at pro level on the drum.

Nips edits aren't FTW ...  he doesn't have any footage other than comp stuff I film and I suck at editing and he doesn't have time, so the submitted edits are old footage and are submitted just to show participation..... Anywaysssssssssss

hey, how far are you from Joetsu?  Might like to bring a small group up to shred Sunday.  We have a train station right here. As long as we are in Tokyo on Monday morning everything is good.
