whoop de fuckin do. so they do more physical work. that doesnt mean they have any better of a work ethic, or that that somehow makes them better or smarter. people in the city work just as hard, just in a different way

I'm not saying it makes them smarter, but I really think that work ethic is far more solid in rural areas. It's hard to argue against that. Strong work ethic is inherent in entire days full of hard physical labor. Im not saying urbanites are lazy mother fuckers either, but I think work ethic is more solid in hardscrabble rural areas where life depends on strong, physical labor.

Yeah, I guess its not really my place to say since I have never lived in an urban area but I do know first hand how hard alot of our farmers and ranchers work to get very little in return. I do know that most kids growing up on a farm or ranch start working for the family when they are very young and get very little time for themselves. This is fact. I spent 6 weeks of my summer building barbed wire fence. I was up at 330 AM, out of the house by 415 and home usually between 630Pm to 800. Luckily I was working for a contractor and making decent money. Many families in rural America face the same work day without the benefits of decent wages. Home schooling is very popular because families need their kids to work. Homeschooling isn't always bad either. Two of my best friends were home schooled. One of them is a junior in the MSU architecture program and the other is going to culinary school this fall. Sorry for the long rant, I was just trying to push the point that the op is an idiot.

Thats not what I meant. It would be interesting if someone could actually quantify what it means to be lazy. Mental? Physically? I am guessing this will never take place in NSG.

haha, thanks man.  i appreciate the respect...one of the greatest movies of all time.  i'm stoked when people get it, sometimes people on NS refer to me as "lloyd" and i never bother to correct them but am praying they don't actually think that's my name.
