no no no no....not to be mean or anything but fuck...the old section is STILL there once you go to videos look to the right side of your screen, there is a tool bar that says quick links on it look at the bottom of that and click.... you will be amazed at what you will find

FOR REALZ!!! The new one is hard to find and moset of NS will never find it :(...
I miss the old video section. Better quality, easier to find top rated, and the videos can be larger.. the new flash stuf is not HD friendly at all :(....

I'm not afraid, i just can recognize how bad the new version is. The flash videos were a good idea, but the quality isn't very good and there are fucking ads before every video. I'd much rather watch an embedded vimeo or even youtube or a direct link than a 15 second ad before a shitty quality flash version of my video.

Basically, it sounds like we need to upload videos directly to this site to keep the ski ads on NS, rather than vimeo.

So let Bishop know what you guys want and we can have the best of both worlds!

Also, how bout you upload directly to NS so it will have a thumbnail and be downloadable and all that, but then in the description or in the comments you post the vimeo link. Eh? Sounds like it will solve both problems!

I'm sorry guys, it isn't going to happen.

You have the option to use the old one while we fix the new one to fit people's needs, but we will not ever bring back the old section as the default.

We have blended the old section into the new, and this will be how its going to go. We will work diligently to improve the new section and take all of your feedback. We can keep links to download full-quality videos, but we will eventually disable the ability to embed foreign video site content.

This was a tough decision for me, but we had to do it. Please post constructive criticism and suggestions in site discussion because that will be how to solve this problem.

If you aren't going to actually bring back the old video section, can you at least make it so you don't have to watch it in the shitty flash player?

I liked having full quality quicktime on here, and the flash player absolutely destroys the quality.



And the army ads really, really, really get on my nerves.

I swear, the next time I see someone complaining about having to watch an ad before a video on this FREE website I'm going to hold NoPoles at gunpoint while he reprograms NS into a paysite. If you don't like ads, get ready to pay an annual fee.

Just please take the thumbnails out they clutter the fuck out of it. And if the quality increases i wont be mad about not having foreign embed. I just want it to look like the old one. Not having ad at the beginning would be dope, how about just at the end?

get rid of the thumbnails, clutter shit up and you can only see a few videos at once on a page.
get rid of the stars on the video page, unnecessary. they're nice for actually rating though.
get rid of the ads before videos, seriously? there's enough ads on here already.
as for flash player, unless NS can have HD available it shouldn't be the default for watching videos
having quicktime was nice

Yeah you're right, because they're totally only there for visual appeal. Damn, we overdid it, our bad. So, you will personally be paying NS for the lost revenue from the ads then, right? I'll email you the banking info.
