JJ v Hellbent v ARG in Sierra Cement

I ski primarily in Tahie and if you don't know the pow is usually pretty heavy. I'm 19, 6'1", 175, drop 20-30 ft. cliffs, have been riding since I was 3, and despite the fact I don't post on a website often I'm an exceptionally good skier, and I have wide feet so I can't get FTs.
I want the ARGs but I don't know if there is enough deep powder often enough, I think I could handle them on groomers but what about the crud that comes the day after the powder day that gets heavy
I've been told by some people I trust to go with hellbents, but I also like the stats on the JJs. I rode the comis, liked em, but didn't think that highly of em. There are some people's opinions on here I trust so let me know if you have any opinions/experience.

I demoed the Surface Live Life 2's and they were all around amazing and great in crud.  I honestly think I could use them as an all mountain ski... if I lived out west.

I ride at Sierra Summit so my snow is pretty much the same as yours and I have Hellbents.  JJs are too skinny for my liking and ARG is just blehh.  Hellbents are awesome everywhere except crud.  Any softer rockered ski sucks in the pow.  They really fun and stable.  I say go with the Hellbents.

I love my JJs for pow, however they are a bit on the soft side for heavy crud.  They slay everything else though.

ARG: only for pow. Reverse sidecut is very exclusive.

JJ: tail dancing like a whip.

Hellbent: perfect in pow and hardpack. Just a little bit soft tail for landing big jump on harpack but nice in pow (just check Sean Pettit in The Massive and Claim on 1,69m K2 Hellbent. He landed safe without problem. Longer skis will be a lot easier too.

my ARG's charge through powder crud. there pretty much amazing on anything but hard packed snow. jut rockered enough to kill it in pow but yet still stiff enough to charge and stomp landings. amazingly agile in the tree's too, probly the thing that suprised me the most about them. deffinatly squirley on hard pack though. other then that they pretty much kill it.

im havent found a surface my hellbents arent good on and i tried arg's and i found them unplayful and horrible on the groomers

JJ's are the ski. Don't know what the above guys are talking about. The JJ is a solid all around pow skis that still give'er on hardpack. 115 too narrow? What, maybe for blower pow, but for crud? Have fun on a 130+ bud.

jjs are the best all around ski i have ever skied on, they can do everything and do it well. good in the park, solid on groomers, great in pow. you could ski them everyday everywhere...

I have no idea what that means, but I have heard nothing but good things about the jj's.  I think they would be your best bet.

have you thought of bent chetlers, they are a stiffer and wider version of the jj. after riding them for a week, they are really sick in the pow and they can hold an edge on the groomers

the Hellbents are only good for fresh and even then they have way too much sidecut, but in chop and hardpack they are way too soft it's just not fun. You may want to look into the chopstick if the 185 is not too small, they have a much better flex, imo they are a perfect all-mountain ski.
If you want to go with something like the ARG they will perform way better in powder and will be manageable on hardpack with some getting used to, and the sidecut underfoot will significantly increase that.

how about unplayful nothing amazing in the pow sucky in the park. i will admit that they beat the hellbent on arcing gs turns but hellbent has no problems on the hard pack and beats the jj every where else. Trust me i have skied them both.

hellbent is a nice ski, but ive got the JJ and i love it, i whip threw pow in colorado and drop off cliffs, ive never had the tail dance like a whip on my before...

I don't trust you. I love my JJs. They kill pow, and windblown pow. They're not meant for park. And I can say with confidence that JJs will make quick work of hellbents in tight situations, or quick turns.

surface live life 1 if u want a slightly stiffer ski to charge through it
live life 2 to float and play above it.

i love my surface live life 1's for everything. even on deep days i find myself grabbing them instead of my args. hellbents are wayyy to soft in my opinion. they have a hard time blasting through when it gets heavy or cruddy. hope that helps.

if u wana kill it in the park and in the pow, look at Line Blend's if u jus wana kill tha pow i would roll with JJs seriously
