Just got a ticket

i got my 2nd ticket in a year tonight im so pissed, first ticket i got i was going 14 over and tonight i got one for blowing through astop sign 165 dollrs, i just got my restrictions off a month ago and now i hve to hve them back on for 6 months, so pissed

what other tickets have you had lately and how much were they?

Next month I celebrate my three years of driving. Have yet to get pulled over for a driving infractiong.

"Vehicule non-conformée"...that's a different story.

I haven't gotten a ticket since i was about 17, 3 years ago. Somehow i haven't gotten a speeding ticket, i tend to speed alot, especially on the freeway.

there's no one to blame but yourself... dont go anymore than 10 over, and stop when  it says stop....

I gotta say I've been so lucky with cops though, whenever I have gotten pulled over I've just been given warnings. *knock on wood*

haha ik i was on country back roads in wisco and at a three way stop where im still going straght theres a stop sign for some reason i saw car coming up on the left and i did want to get stuck behind it and luck me it happened to be a cop, just got bitched at by my parents, need sum +++vibes or sumtin haha

first one was a 63 in a 35, just having a nice drive alone around a lake.  The cop was cool and reduced it to 19 over so i didnt have court.  It was only a $75 fine and one point too which was sweet.

Second one was on I-25 headed home for the weekend from Breck.  Multi car speed trap was set up and they got me going 92 in a 75.  That one was $127 I think with 2 points. 

both were within a year and one more and i think my liscense would be suspended.  Luckily i dont have to drive much at this point in my life.

1 citation for illegal window tint
1 citation for no proof of insurance

fudge
no speeding tickets even tho i got pulled over twice in one week
i have gotten called in from not one but two super-citizens
one of them was for me and a few other skiers having a slow contest down the highway
 we were going 20..

haha i did that once too but we blocked off all the lanes w/ my friends and we were going 35 i think we got like 5 or 6 fingers

haha ive been pulled over 15 times for just about everything you can imagine in 2 years, i had a ricer in a small town, i was asking for all of them. But.... **knock on wood** never gotten a ticket

haha once I got pulled over because I was blasting my sub and didnt realize a cop was in front of me.  He was going the same place as me and eventually pulled over to let me pass so he could pull me over.

He basically told me it was too loud but didnt have a deciblemeter so he couldnt do anything about it.  i was proud.

15 over in my experience. All of my dads cop friends say 15 over you can get away with, after that your fair game. unless its in a school zone or residential area

It all depends on where you live, i know places where if you go more than 5 over you'll get pulled over.

that sucks.  i've only had one ticket for going 81 in a 65 but it was for like 157 or some shit.  the guy was undercover...he was chillin in the right lane and i was going with the flow of traffic passing him up but he took out the damn light and put it on top of his car and pulled me over because i was a teenager wearing a 59 50.

it's weird because last night i was on the highway with friends at like 10 o clock going exactly 81 in a 65 right by a cop and somehow didn't get pulled over.  got lucky for sure.

you get pulled over for going 10 over, in the DC area.  plus they just put in TONS of speed cameras.  they supposedly click on if you are going 10 over.  my dad has gotten 2 for about 38 in a 30.  and on the ticket, it says that it is non-contestable, which is complete trash, because in most case, on this particular road, it is unsafe to go any slower then the speed that traffic is moving, plus the cameras can only tag one car for every three that pass.....there needs to a class action suit against those.

Go to court and keep the points off your record.  I've gotten a 22 over and a 13 over in the last year but I've still got a clean slate.  Saves a fortune on insurance

I got pulled over in traffic ON THE FREEWAY once for going 77 in a 70. How fucking stupid is that? I was in the right hand land with people flying by me on the left. He pulled me over because he said I was going way too fast and needed to slowdown, at least he didn't give me a ticket. It was fucking stupid.

got pulled over going 76 in a 55...got it reduced to a $90 parking ticket because my lawyer is straight baller....if i didnt get it reduced i would have had my license suspended

did 94 in a 65. fought the state wit no lawyer and very litttle knowledge of the system. got it down to 80 in a 65. 350 dollar ticket

only real ticket i've ever gotten was a speeding ticket. long straight ass road with farm fields on both sides doing 70 in a 55 cop pulled me over and reduced it to 64 in a 55 so it was only like $109. the cop was pretty nice about it though. although another time a kid in my car got a ticket for not wearing a seat belt and i got off scotch free for changing lanes in an intersection in front of two cops at a stop light from the turning lane.

Next time, think of stopping at a stop sign.

I've never gotten a ticket and I've been driving for 7 years or so. I'm convinced its because I drive an ugly grey ford focus. It looks like every other car on the road. There is absolutely NOTHING special about it. I speed all the time. The road I live on, it was an 80km/h zone, it got re-paved and some jerk complained that cars were going too fast, so it was changed to a 60km/h zone, then a petition was sent around saying that was too slow, so now its 70km/h zone. I pretend that its still 80km/h.

The other day, for example, I was driving and coming up on this other car rather quickly, apparently he felt the need to go 50 in a 70 zone, I pulled out and blew by him and who is hiding on a sidestreet? A friendly neighbourhood police man. I quickly pulled back in front and stared in my rear view mirror for a few minutes....and NOTHING.  woo.

79 in a 55.. dropped to 74. ~150 dollar ticket
69 in a 55. ~140 dollar ticket.
No proof of insurance citation.
And the last time I got pulled over I was coming back from skiing and got caught in a speed trap in the tunnels on 35 in Duluth, way blazed haha  so weird dealing with a Sheriff. The Sheriff just asked if I knew how fast I was going, I told him the truth and he let me go, thank god for records being refreshed when you turn 18 :)

I made it from Pennslvania to Colorado without being pulled over. Booking about 95 solidly the whole way.

Then in Boulder i got pulled over for going 3 over the speed limit at 2:30 am.

so close the other night. No after nine and it was like 12:30, five kids in the car, and going 68 in a 45. the cop turned around so we saw that and hid on this dirt road and like five seconds later the cop goes by at like 70 with sirens going
