Season ruined

I was skiing Beaver Creek saturday and on my first run cased the 4th jump really bad.  I had never skied their park and noone at the top of the park knew the sppeed.  So i say fuck it and just go.  Cleared thge first three fine(doing a little speed check between each.  On the fourth jump i came up short and broke my left heal and tore my right ACL.   Fuck

I wanted to know about otherkids rehabing their ACL's.  mine was a stage 3

Dude that totally blows, I kinda know how you feel because I fractured my tibula and fibula/ broke my leg in the beginning of the season around December. I've been out for two months and hopefully be skiing by the end of this week. I don't know how long you'll be out, but I know how you feel. Hope you get better super fast and at least you skied the most of this season (I missed the best two months of ski season because I live on the East Coast. Good luck dude!

i tore mine level 3 on jan 15.  im 2 weeks out of surgery now and walking!  keep your head up man!

that sucks, but this goes for everyone i think...

you just need to take a warmup run everyday you ski. your warmup run can even be while you scope out the park. it would have been super smart to scope out the jumps if it was your first time hitting up their park. safety first kids!

If you are lucky and get your surgery booked soon, you may be skiing next year. You'll need a good 6 months after surgery of intense rehabilitation if you expect to ski at the same level you are now.
