Lacrosse Season

Anyone else starting theirs up? First day of pre-season indoor practice is tomorrow for me, pissed because it's still ski season.

we play in an indoor league in the winter, its a small field, 8 on 8, with nets around it. They say no body checking, and do enforce it sometimes, but we can't really help ourselves (being out door players who use body checking just like we cradle). so me and my fellow defenders have been kicked out of games before, we get into like fights sometimes. sometimes we just all out bulldoze someone cuz we're pissed. it gets sooooo heated and so much fun.

i used to do winter lax if thats what u mean by indoor. but yea i dont do it anymore cuz for like 4 years in a row it was fucking horrrrible. like it was so gay and so poorly set up. but this year supposivly it was good so ill check it out next year.

I know its out west but CO we have some really good lacrosse teams, my team isn't good, but teams like Kent and Cherry Creek(fact:Bobby Brown played for there JV team) are really good..

thats pretty sick but if anyone has a chance to play real canadian box i recomend it highly. Its fast paced and roughhh like a couple kids from the US moved up here and started playin box and they were having a tough time with the hitting and shit.

One of them played for NESLL i think, he has all theyre gear anyway.

i used to play, it was fun, my first coach played NLL for ottawa and canadian juniors back in the day, haha. but i gave it up in college cause i had to decide between lax and skiing. doing both wasnt really an option.

running started today, real practice starts in 4 weeks... and if we dont get everyone to come to running, tryouts are 2-a-days

Todays running was
-30 minutes of stairs
-15 minutes of windsprints

i got kicked off my schools lacrosse team last year for fighting some kid, my coach already hated me though cuz i ditched a saturday practice to go to keystone for closing weekend. haha this year i decided to just ski.
