Anyone else starting theirs up? First day of pre-season indoor practice is tomorrow for me, pissed because it's still ski season.

haha how in any way is lacrosse for stuck up kids?

if anything id say rugby is, depending where you live.

lacrosse is a real sport too.

if you dont like what the thread is about then shut the fuck up and click the back button on your browser, you arent gonna be convincing anyone to play rugby, or change anyones opinion on lacrosse.

haha its ok. like i said it depends where you live, it really depends what sport is most prominent in your town.

theres deff towns in my state where lax kids are dicks because its the big sport in the town.

same as being a football player in some big southern football town, youre probably going to be a douche.

i have a grudge against soccer kids from my old HS, they had 8 fields and our entire jv/v boys and girls lax shared one field.

Wow, that late?
I just started my first college season...practice started the day we got back from break in January, throwing every day and lifts and stuff. Now, we have team practices pretty much every day. So my ski season was almost nonexistent.

Probably worth it though, it's going to be so much fun. But I wish I could ski more.

high school.
my team went 0-16 two years ago and i am a junior and i have started varsity goalie since freshman year and then last year we went 9-8 and we lost 1 senior and we have a small ass school with like 17 people on the team becasue everyone plays fucking baseball and this year we might go like 14-5 or someting better and do well in playoffs... i also live in kentucky lol... its getting big here but comes nowhere near football/baseball

school lax starts in march and my actuall season ( for club team ) starts in april.

Anyone else here a box player, like nothing against you field players( i play both) but in my opinion Box is wayyy sciker than field. No hatin or anything

Lacrosse season never ends. IM SO PUMPED!!! we have been playing indoor every weekend for a couple months, they dont allow body checking so when we do, which happens alot, fights break out and its so much fun. we also have a new coach (if you know who roy colsey is, very well known pro, he was our old coach)

I play in New York, im sure you all know John Jay and Yorktown as huge HS and huge recruiting school, my school plays them, its a tough battle. our whole defence is going to the best d3, and one is probably going d1. we have a good chance this year

i have a ton of recruiting to do this summer :)

yeah, i go to Horace Greeley. They are insane, not as good this year, but they are always good. i mean they still have kids going to hopkins but they arent that good, haha. they are just amazing, i can't wait to see how we do

My season started in the fall pretty much.  Im super excited for this season, we're a favorite for winning states (NYS Class B).  Also we won a video contest this year, we got $30,000 from New Balance with that includes being sponsored by New Balance, which includes warrior and brine.   It's gonna be sick.  Check it out.  www.seasoninthebalance.com

OOOO!!!! btw, everyone go to the UVM lacrosse camp. I just visited and introduced myself to the coach, and now i plan on going to their camp. i would love to get recruited by UVM.

I'm also going to Elite 180, anyone else?

whhhaaattt comeon nickk...we only have 3 fields...this year they were redoing the JV field for lax so we couldnt play on that...they put a field on the ghey field hockey field and one on the baseball diamond...the only real field wezz got is the varsity field hahaa

alot of soccer kids are pricks though

and we get wrecked by them every year :) sometimes its embarrassing. if you know who the Bocklet brothers are, one is going to virginia, the other one plays at hopkins. they have 2 other players going to 'cuse. SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN RECRUITED FROM THESE TWO ALONE!!! it actaully makes us seem really good compared to other schools, we're decent in our sections.

A couple buddies from Lax go and play box up in Canada in the Summer and say its brutal.

But lax is starting up for me, my division is really bad though so we should make playoffs (our team isn't that good).

new york is unreal so is maryland, and virginia, but mass is really catching up if not caught up. Im on a select team and we play teams from everywhere and we surprise almost everyone we play and we do really well in tournaments and shit.
