it's as simple as adding that extra half turn my friend. i know the switch landing is intimidting at first, but it will come much more naturally than you expect. you'll be surprised how easy. just make sure you have enough speed to hit the landing.

i learned 540s on my 2nd or 3rd try but it took me like 300 to get a 360. Just try and look uphill after you get the 360.
