Skis losing camber

i have a pair of 08 AR6s and i have been skiing on them for the whole season. i noticed a few days ago when i was putting them together that the part of the skis above the bindings aren't touching (kind of like an early rise tip)

i was wondering if it was good or bad for the skis and if i could send them back for a new pair

this has happened to me, except with my old race skis, where the actual core of the ski broke. it happens if you apply the wrong type of pressure to the wrong area.

 you cant do anything yourself to fix it except talk to armada about warrenty stuff. they are great when it comes to relpacing skis and stuff, so just talk to armada and tell them your story and either send the ski in or include photos.

i had that happen to my PEs, i think because of to many tip stands, or whatever they are called

my ar6's from last year were reverse camber by the end of the year, complete noodles couldn't ski them this year,  got new skis, end.

do you do a lot of tip stands?

I did the same to my old ARVs and I think it was because of all of the tip stands I did.

they are excellent pow/rock skis now

i dont do those nose stand things but for a while ive been doing nose butter thingies on the mini park jumps so it might be from that

waiting is never a good idea when trying to get skis replaced, then sooner you contact them the better. Email would be your best bet, or if you bought them from a shop you deal a lot with (and that you trust) have them handle it for you.

also my brake is bent and is jammed so that they are up. what is the best way to bend them back ive tried with my hands but i cant move them at all

now when you get sticks next year you will have a set for park and a set for pow, by accident. haha

yeah not uncommon. My thrusters have reverse camber. My friend has ar6s and there supppperrr rockered. I have a cousin with fully rockered from the binding the to end elizabeths.

haha yea i had parks skis and i used them water ramping for the summer and now they are reverse camber and i use them for pow. its tight!

All Armada's do this.  Warranty them.  My friend got a free pair because of it.
