Yeah the right 10 was definitely a full on boot grab, the amount of spinning sans grab off the up rail was also a little weird. But the grab on the left 10 was solid, run overall was really smoothly done, and he looks so relaxed skiing and landing switch.
No, he did not get into slopestyle at Mt. Snow. He only did Pipe, which he just skied down through the middle. He was coming back from his collarbone injury (the one that happened before Breck) so he did not really try in the Pipe event.
If he had been in all 3 he definitely would have at least been in the running for overall champ. It seems that the judges now want all riders to ski and land as smooth as he does. I bet we see a change in the scoring when Wallisch is in contests because his runs are exponentially more smooth than the others. The judges will start rewarding more for your flow and how effortless you can look. It started to happen on Saturday if you watch how tech the other runs were vs. Tom's.
does anyone have a link to the wallisch run on youtube with his sw 10 landing? i cant find it anywhere and my internet is blocking the vids on allisports!
