No goggle steeze ?

How come i see so many steeze balls ride with no goggles these days.
I dont have a problem with it, it looks cool sometimes. i just want to know if there is any benefit in doing this? or is it just for looks.

ps. i dont see THAT many people doin it but a decent amount do. 

pps. I tried it out and couldnt see shit and it hurt my eyes, and im afraid of snowblind!

i only do that if they get fogged when i'm hiking. i keep them off for that sesh, then put them back on

lately mine have been fogging up like today so i just had them around my neck, but its a bitch when its snowing and it gets in your eyes

only wear goggles when i have to, ie. sunny or i'm skiing fast and don't want the wind in my eyes.  never tried the sunglasses steez though, looks way funnier than no goggles,

if im skiing they are almost always on, snow, rain, wind etc. not really concerned with snowblindess but it never hurts to be prepared. if im skiing, like lift, line etc i'll usually take them off if its warm enough, i'd see more steeze having sweet looking goggles then having none

in one of jon brogan's edits he isn't wearing goggles except for jumps i think. and in the midwest edit with ahmet hornbeck and henrik, they aren't wearing goggles but its nighttime si that doesn't really count.

but for me i like my goggles

There actually seems to be a pretty big trend in the snowboarding community about not wearing googles. At least around here in Quebec. One of my friends who does ride without goggles says it's useless and he hates when they get foggy. He only wears them in extreme conditions.

I personnally do not agree and I wear my goggles all the time unless I hiking for rails, and I'm not convinced at all that this trend has a real benefit

i didnt wear them at all last year because they were too restricting but it sucked when the weather wasnt perfect. i wear them now so im used to it when weather's bad

i dont wear them. they bug me out, like i cant see all the lil bumps are shit. i wear them if its snowing or for by some will of god theres a pow day at my mountain. but if im skiing park i never wear them

My google strap fell off the frame. It was taking too long to fix, so I rode without goggles for a day.

Sometimes when I'm night skiing I will, visibility is shit with even slightly tinted lenses.

Usually I don't because it makes my eyes tear up and then they freeze and it sucks lol.
