How to delete my account

We can't delete accounts fully. We can ban you if that's what you want but that's all we can do.

If I wanted to end my ability to procrastinate endlessly on NS by banning myself, but then like over the summer I wanted my account back, would that be a possibility? How would I go about doing this?

One of us mods could definitely ban you for the sake of procrastination. Just send one of us a message and we can ban you for a certain amount of time. You just have to let us know when you want to be unbanned because we can't set ban a designated ban length. We've gotten plenty of these requests in the past because people just can't get their school work done with their NS account in action. Send a PM.

HAHA this is the funniest thing I've seen on this site!

but has it ever been considered to delete accounts that haven't been used for a certain amount of time? for exemple you don't log in for a year the account gets deleted. Not that it's the most usefull thing in the world, but the number of member would be more accurate

Its been talked about but we've always concluded it was best to just keep accounts that have been inactive for a while, you never know when someone will sign in after a year of not being on the site.
