First off I would like to thank my friend Fitz (tribefan226) for getting me into the sport of freeskiing. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me and will continue to help me progress in my skiing. heres the story:
It started at the end of the 07/08 season where I met my friend Fitz in band class (of all places). We talked and he enlightened me on this wonderful sport we call freeskiing. Everyday we talked about skiing and I learned terms and products of the skiing community. I watched my first movie ever, 4bi9's Look It Up, and was blown away, I was astonished. Fast forward a few weeks and there I am finished with my summer set up ready to learn the ways of the newschooler. First sesh I ever had and I got the rail semi down. I was instructed to make a newschoolers.com account, and i did. I will say that this has been the best/worst decision of my life, but way on the better side. I am hooked on this site and never get hw done but who cares. Im not that good, I ski to have fun and to learn new stuff. From Chads Gap to Scott Vail, from the backyard to the mountain, this site has helped me learn stuff about skiing, take up many hours of my life and most of all through all the posts, storys, videos it has taught me to have fun while skiing.
so,
thank you ns for this website, Brian for getting me into skiing, and all my friends for supporting me
