forward vs. session 1242

Well technically Session 1242,but I love Forward and I think it's better. Both have some very sick shit. Dave Crichton has the best part of the year. Close second is Pep Fujas,buy both and you're happy. Or buy one and make your friend buy the other one.

Ben, Session 1242 has more variety i.e park/big mountain/jibbing where Forward is strictly park/urban jibbing.. Personally, i liked Forward better because i find urban rails and stuff much more enjoyable to watch.. They are both amazing movies though.. Get both if you can.

BEN-JAMIN!!how could you ask such a question!? if ya like rails, Forward is it! (and i am not sure who wouldn't like rails, but anyway...) SEssion 1242 has more segments, and variety, as cowboy said^ but forward is overall a better movie.

I would definately say 1242...
Forward is very good, but 1242 is amazing. Forward has some very average stuff in it along with some amazing skiing, but 1242 is ALL so good, and you just have to see Pep's segment to believe it.

^he said it well. I mean 1242 could have sweet urban rails and stuff like forward but their skiers are busy in the bc droppin cliffs and hitting booters. I think 1242 is the best movie ever made and showcases to the fullest what our sport is all about.

1242 is so damn progressive. i mean, tons of unnaty spins, pep's fakie pow landings, jon's nose grabs, tanner's no grab cork, this is skiing's future. haven't seen forward yet, however, but it is on its way to my house, so ill have to check back when i see it.

I agree, 1242 is so so progressive. Forward is a great movie, but it takes itself much more seriously than 1242 and its not as progressive. 1242 has a 'fun' feel to it, Forward has a 'gansta' attitude about it.

i like forward more, i love the editing in it and the integration of the different segments. 1242 still kicks ass but i think forward is better

yeah i didn't think Forward had much urban jibbing other then spence's segemnt. I think RFA was more park and jibbing then forward and i like RFA more. I havn't seen 1242 thou

i havent seen high life but i have 3 or 4 other TGR films.. Personally, i really don't like these films. I have a hard time staying interested after an hour of straight big mountain skiing. It just gets boring.. Im sure its intense for those skiing it, but it's just not exciting to watch. I would much rather watch a Poor Boyz or L1P film anyday.
