Why do people not like 4FRNT?

Just wondering because they have some really sick designs and their skis keep getting rave reviews, especially the MSP's.

People keep ragging on durability, but mine have lasted longer than my Armadas.  I also weigh 185 lbs so I put my skis through hell on rails.

I've used my brothers MSPs at least 20 days and they're fine. I love them.

All I know is Eric Hjorleifson designed one hell of a ski.  CR's ski is also on the list for next season.

I might get CR's ski next year just because I feel like it.  It looks that sweet.  Of course I haven't ridden them yet so I can't say much else than they look sick...

people bitch about warrenty issues, and what was said above. I have had my msps for 2 or 3 years and the only problem is the top sheet has chipped. Everytime I talk to customer servie at 4frnt about this and that (usually hats and what not) they have been more then helpful. Actually they ran out a hoodie I order and personally called me to see what other hoodie I wanted, and then shipped it overnight to me. I believe they are a legit company.

ive heard that the durability isnt so great, and the topsheets chip/scratch easily. but then again, ive heard some fantastic reviews about them.

My VCTs are great. minimal damage so far, topsheets this year reduced chipping.

Seems like people either love or hate 4Frnt.

Never had any problems with the MSPs. And they're MAD fun to ski on.

everybody either hates them or loves them
mostly i think its about the durablity. but i cant find any solid proof of that. so im thinking that they are pretty decent

I know graphics aren't anything in the scheme of things, but I don't think there has been a 4frnt ski graphic I've liked yet.  That's just one man's opinion though.

love my STL's...super fun ski....topsheets chip quick but reallly.....if your worried about your pretty little graphics then maybe park skiing isnt for you.

My 09 tnks hav held amazingly so far but ive heard tht there older tnks are up the ass also i hav meet a guy with 04 msps soo it cant be tht bad

i have last years TNKs and they are an okay ski to ski on but the topsheet chips like crazy.  I was skiing on a rail setup in my back yard and they chipped horribly the first time i used them.  Overall they are a good ski, but i wouldn't reccomend getting them if you like your skis to look clean and new.

I took some of the 186 EHPs out this year and the 190s last year, and both seemed pretty bland to me. 186s were slashy, but just not very fun compared to my Hellbents which weighed twice as much.
