heres a fun story regarding myself, concussions, and college. as light of a read as i can put it:
got a slight concussion in a rugby game, felt kinda woozy but nothin too serious, went skiing a few days later (it was the spring) and fell off a rail, helmet first to jersey's ice.
it wasnt even too bad of a fall but the close proximity of the two (from what i learned later) made it worse.
felt weird for a day and slept it off, next night i smoked with some friends and did NOT feel myself whatsoever. took another day off, then the next night, a thursday, naturally a bar night, went out and had some drinks.
also diddnt feel too hot.
next night i got talked into smoking some sick green with some friends and this was the beginning of the shithole that was the next few days. starting bugging out cuz i was pseudo tripping in the car and when we came back in the house i kept asking if anyone else felt weird and if it was laced cuz i was fuckedddd.
next day in class, sober, the walls start moving. i shit u not, i love mushrooms and it was doing the same shit, sober. and i was NOT having that.
quick run to the ER and i find out i had post concussive syndrome, due to the closeness of the two, and the alcohol and weed just fuckd it up worse, so i just had to deal with feeling shitty mentally for the next few days and no skiing/rugby for a couple weeks. needless to say it sucked
i dont know exactly what will happen with u cuz u only had one and it doesnt seem like ur too fucked but take it from me if ur feeling kinda weird and shitty whilst drinking, BACK OFF. totally not worth it man it was such a shitty week. u can always go out the next weekend, or the next 4 weeks straight if ur doin college the right way. play it safe guy.
