if you're riding 70% park, don't get the blends! (too stiff and heavy)
Walls are really fun center mounted for park, but not too much fun all mountain (although it may be different if you don't center mount them) Also fyi i bought 08 walls brand new and they got completely fucked up after 20 days. i blew out 12" of edge under boot, delammed tips, and edges/ptex at tips are bent/broken. They are SO FUN though. it's a ski you hate to love. if you're typically not too rough with your skis they might last, but i was in the park all day every day for a month and a half and had to buy some pipe cleaners recently to replace the walls (2nd new pair in one season)
i'm sure youve heard everyone complaining about the durabilityand service of salomon recently, so there you go.
if you're open to another suggestion, i would def. go with anthems/chronics. Line skis have been my favorite. they are durable, really fun, good value, and i have recommended them to lots of friends. i have 5 buddies with line skis, and none have had problems with durability. just don't get the blends if you're doing 70% park!
