Getting new Boots, But No Bootfitter?

Alright, so here it is. I live in like the middle of Wisconsin, and there isn't shit around here for proshops (least for skiing). Anyways, the one shop within distance only carries Salomon, and no freestyle boots (could prob order?). I REALLY want to try on Full Tilts ( my friend has them and my foot looks somewhat skinny like his), but there isn't a SINGLE Full Tilt dealer in Wisconsin. Also, I want to try on some Dalbellos etc. There is just no major proshops around here with mroe than 1 brand. What do I do, if I can't find a bootfitter, and I don't feel like driving 6 hours to Duluth?

Make the drive to Duluth, I'll set you up quite nicely.

It's like a 6 hour drive each way. Otherwise I would (not to mention I'm 15, and am just starting Driver's Education)

Were you kidding, because someone said lol. Otherwise, I will seriously e-mail you a pic of my foot. Do you have a regular e-mail address besides NS? If you do, you should PM me with your address, and I can send you a pic of my foot. Should I send a pic from above looking down my leg? or from the side where you can see my calf and foot height? or both? PM me bro

I laughed too, but not everyone knows what a shell fit is.. honest mistake.
To the OP, go to the shop that carries Salomon that is close to you. Ask a knowledgeable bootfitter if you have a high, med, low, etc. volume foot. Knowing this, you can get a better idea about what kind of boot you need. Salomon boots are generally a very generic fit until you get into their high end boots, which are lower volume. Depending on how Salomons fit you, you will know if you need a higher or lower volume boot. If you need a higher volume boot, check out Tecnica and some Nordica, they are a higher volume boot, with a few exceptions. If you need to go to a lower volume boot, check out FullTilt, Dalbello, Lange. All of those companies make great boots for any application. Before you buy a boot, make sure to get a shell fit done. If you know the dimensions of your foot, in cm and mm, you might be able to find an online store or shop in a different region that will work with you on finding a boot that should fit your foot, however the only way to know is to try them on. Best of luck broha.

Wow, I fee like a dumbshit. So I'm pretty much a gaper, but am getting better at freestyle so yeah. I know I sound like a douche-faggel, but whatever, I should've known somebody on NS would never be understanding...
