Waxing Urban Rail

just wondering what wax to use on an urban rail, someone said candlewax, I have a thing of that all temperature Ass wax, will that work?  Anyone with experiance wanna help me out.

i've used candlewax before.  Its all right.  If you have nothing to use use that.  But it is kindof sticky.. well at least for me.

all the ones i have done i have never waxed prolly should have but i didnt.

My question is  cement ledges, can u wax those and the slide?

yah theres no need to wax a handrail unless its like a super flat handicap railing and you need more speed to clear. and for the ledges yah you can wax them, and it will slide just sucks for edges but other than that its fine... some parks even have cement ledges.

aha! then i guess your best bet would actualy be some spam or jigaloo... something like that. an airosol lubricant because wax will not go onto the rail bery well in the cold

it says cold temp wax but I dunno if that constitutes rails

if its ski wax, then unless it sais other wise... the temperature they say is the optimal temperature for the wax to go fast. not the melting point or temperature it should be aplied in. definately check to see what it is but hey if you can apply it to the rail and not just rub the rail and have no wax coming off then your golden
