I think it would just get tons of snow stuck to it on top of your skis that wouldn't come off. And then if you accidentally get one ski hitting the top of the other it's gonna sand your bases or edges. Unique idea but I don't think it is too smart to follow through with...

this might be a shock but some people buy skis for how they ski rather than how they look. I just thought grip taping em would be funny because they are made the same as a skateboard (ie. skateboards get gripped)

I dont think thats what he's getting at...  He's saying that some people buy skis purely based on the graphics, even if it doesn't even suit their riding interests or they dont even look at that aspect of the ski.

believe me kid, I know what hes talking about.

Also why the hell is every one hating on thomas? I can guarentee you wouldnt buy a ski that you thought was completely horrendous even when you think it rides alright. Im sure theres other skis that ride very similar and you would probably go get those instead.
