So I am a member of my school's environmental club, CENIC, and twice every school year we have CENIC week. The main idea behind CENIC week is to increase the awareness of our effects on the environment throughout the school.
This year I am trying to propose the idea of presenting a ski movie to the school as a means of raising funds. I have been in contact with a few film companies and they all have been super helpful about this whole thing. But my main dilemma is finding the right movie to show. I was just wondering if anyone out there could help me out. It does not necessarily have to be the sickest movie of the year (in our point of view), but it has to appeal to your normal, rich, New York City gaper. I had a feeling something like "Such Is Life" would be a good choice because there is a lot of big mountain skiing and not a lot of gansta rap.
Sparknotes:
Trying to host a ski movie screening, but I can't find the right one. The main goals of screening this movie are to raise funds, awareness concerning climate change, and increase awareness about our glorious sport of skiing.
