wtf, my edges are already cracked!!

I just got some new pe's this year and after only 6 days on the hill, like 3 on rails, the edges already have a few cracks. Yes I do know how to slide rails and no I do not slam onto them. This is fucked up, my original 1080's went two years before the edges started to break. I thought the public enemys were supposed to have extra thick edges. Anyway, anyone else have this problem?

I cracked my edge on my ar5s...its from the friction of the rail. It makes it hot then when it hit the snow it cools it down too fast causing it to break.

i got p.e.'s too and my bro said he saw a spark when i hit this 6 footer in my back yard. it looks like somebody tooka hack saw to my edges

Send them back to K2. As long as there isnt any impact marks going up to the cracked edge then it would be considered a manufacturer defect.

Did you tell them that you were sliding rails, because you might have better result by acting dumb. Also, make sure that there are not any impact marks leading up to the cracked edge. If there is any marks tune the living piss out of the scratched area before you send them back to the company. Anyways your edges shouldnt be cracking this early on.

i didn't say anything...they told me what happened. There were no marks too.
