Need music for skiing. advice on ipod shuffle

does the battery last in the cold weather? how does it stand up comparably to other ipods?

Shuffles are great. I usually get two times of skiing per one charge plus getting up and down the mountain it lasts. And they are pretty inexpensive if you lose it

do you keep it out in the cold like attached to your goggle strap or outer jacket or do you keep it inside in a warm area?

Ya don't worry about the battery life at all. I keep mine on my belt loop and never have any troubles with it. Also, as mentioned, your not too concerned about falling with it because most likely it will not break.

i ski with my shuffle on my gogglestrap, and it have been working out fine for me this season. Temperatures below minus 25 celcius

i clip mine onto my belt loop. its nice cause you can chance the
volume, songs, ect. the only problem ive found is when you land/ball tuck, sometimes it changes the song/volume on you.

i got 80gb ipod classic 5th gen. Lasts at least a whole days skiing no problem
Just keep it close to your body n its fine
