Line Factory Tune/Wax?

Does Line factory wax their skis? If so, do you know what temp the wax is rated for? Also, how do they provide the edges? Are they sharpened, or Detuned a bit or what?

good question, i wondered the same thing myself
i bought a pair of invaders online, and i dont wanna get em sharpened yet if they were already sharpened at the factory

Dont worry about it they're just park skis. Ski them a few days and the edges will be dull anyway. Wax every few weeks if you ski them a bunch and you will be set.

Ask A Parry about line edges being sharp... I remember him getting cut BAD!

every ski ever comes waxed from the factory. and they come sharp. only a few skis come pre beveled under the foot.

false, my 05 - 06 rossignol scratches came with a sticker on the base saying that they were not factory waxed.

i think the only skis to come with detuned edges were the t-halls from a few years back.

ya lame in my opinion but i remember my friend getting his lines this year and the mother fucker could make a sharp turn and be boosting up hill the things were soo quick

Well i guess this is a good time to make a first post, i've been reading what you all write for years and finally going to contribute...

to be blunt Yes, all Line skis are waxed with an all temperature wax before they exit the factory.  It would be ski suicide for them to be shipped without it, the ptex can get dirty and the steel will rust in a very short time.  As for the tune, all Line skis have a 1degree base bevel and 1.5degree side bevel, detuned in the tips and the tails so they dont hook.
