So, my trusty 1994 4runner blew up something fierce on saturday, so im in the market for a new car. I honestly dont give much of a shit about what i get, but i do have pretty odd things i want in a car, and im looking for your help NS. i need ideas.
-less than 10,000 dollars, preferably around 7
-preferably from a reliable brand (my 4runner was awesome, 230,000 miles and i drove it everywhere all the time, across the country and shit)
-preferably AWD/4WD
-preferably a manual transmission
-preferably low miles (IE im not buying a 2010 A5 thats 10,000 dollars just because it has 1000000000 miles on it)
-obviously as new of model as possible, preferably 2000 or higher
-preferably 4 doors/decently practical, wagons are fine
-gas mileage. it has to be good. this rules out most trucks. im looking for 20 mpg combined or higher. i commute 60 miles for work 3 days a week, and i take trips all over the country.
-preferably sporty/fast. this is totally negotiable though.
so far i am most interested in early 2000s subaru outbacks, but i feel like im running out of ideas. just wondering if any of you had a suggestion, since im sure you guys look for pretty similar stuff in cars.
