Sustainable Cult

There is not a single ecosystem or place on Earth that has not been effected by humans.

Would anyone like to see a Cult with the basis on sustainability... being anything from vegetarianism to wildlife to politics to anything under the sun.

I feel like any time a thread is made on Newschoolers about topics relating to this, all it turns into is hate by people uneducated on the issues at hand.

Sooo..... should I do it or is there not enough support?

if you think vegitarianism is the answer to all of earths problems the cult should be an "interesting" thing to browse. Invite me plz.

maybe so, but carbon emissions for some vegitable crops (such as corn, for example) are MUCH higher than you would initially think. Also, do you really think it would be possible to suport billions of people whom (I assume) would all be part of the global labour force with JUST vegitables?

But let us not discuss this now, save it for the cult lol.

First of all.... I never said vegetarianism was the answer to the world's problems... because it's clearly not.

The purpose of this would be for people interested in sustainable living and the environment to talk about stuff without the ridicule of other people.

invite me, i know stuff. but im too lazy to go find the cult... because I have to go study for an environmental exam... no joke.

also, with regards to the vegetarianism thing: you realize that they tend to feed animals vegetables right? so if you eat meat, you still have an impact on food crops. lets take it to the cult though.

When I clicked on this at first I thought it was going to be an argument about whether or not a cult was sustainable (since all of them seem to die out fairly quickly).

I'm down. People have no idea how much meat processing directly causes mass amounts of pollution which in turn is causing global warming which is is leading to glacier loss which is very very bad for us. I'm in sign me up!
