Best Big Mountain Powder Ski!

I am looking for a big mountain powder ski so i can hit some 20 footers on my home mountain and shred the pow with ease. I am 5'10 175 pounds, hope you guys can help me out.Karma+++++++++

JJ, VCT, ANT....pretty much anything spelled with capital letters I guess.

ya it sounds like youre looking for a pow ski, not as much a big mountain ski. pow ski=more jumps, flatter, slower speed and big mt ski=not as much switch, more charging, etc.

Big Mountain ski=charging big steep lines-ANT, VCT
Pow ski=cliffs, some charging-ARG
BC jib ski=cliffs, tree taps, bc booters-bents, EPs, JJs

just some skis and how i look at what they are for

Eh, I'd say JJs are more of a all around pow ski, a bit of everything.

To the thread creator. Out off all the skis you've mentioned, I've skiied the VCT in a 182cm and the ANTs.

I really like the ANTs as an all-around charging ski. For steeps, cliffs, trees and everything in between these things rip. I love them, I've never hit a booter though so I have no input on that. They are a light ski thought, super stiff and but through everything.

The VCTs seemed to have a bit of a softer tip which might be better as a booter ski. They ripped everything in front of them and turned on a dime. I really liked them for everything.

My suggestion would be the VCTs mounted a 1 or 2 forward from recomended. This is just my suggestion because these are the only two skis that I've been on that you mentioned.

The original JJ's are the big mountain skis I was referring to, just kind of forgot to mention that.  I wish they didn't change it so much and just added a new ski to the inventory.

I can agree on the S7s not be for switch riding. I bought a pair for my dad as his big pow ski and it's similar to the Pontoon in the aspect of a swallow tail style.

I'd recommend Bacons personally. Love mine for all mountain and deep pow, and they ride switch well.

Well maybe compared to the ANT, but they are plenty stiff enough to serve as an awesome big mountain ski.

If you want a big mountain ski, look at the line mother ships (195), dynastar xxl (194), rossi b-squad or phantom 108.  These are all very big serious hard charging skis without speed limits, but god help you if you get into tight trees.

If you want a pow ski, do NOT buy the squads, aparently the other skis are manageable, but the squads are SOO stiff, they are pure charging skis, and also bottom feeders.  They submarine like nothing else in pow.  And none of those skis are really "easy," and this kid wants a fun pow ski.  I'd recommend checking out the czars.  If the 182 length turns you off, salomons got a 190 coming out next season.

190 moment ruby ive been riding them a lot and in freeski competitions, they charge so hard and are somehow magically light. 

you should also check out the 192 moment garbones, they have a rockered tip and are amazing.
