A size question on invaders

Alright so I am looking to buy some cheap invaders at the end of this season.  I am 5'7 130 pounds.  I currently ride salomon threats 161 which i have center mounted. Before next season i am supposed to grow to around 5'10- to 6 foot.  I am wondering whether i should get 171's or 178's  I mean my 161's don't feel too short and they are center mounted so I am going more towards the 171s. Tell me what you think.

So 178's don't feel too big? I would think they would be a hassle when popping onto rails and would be harder to spin with on jumps. and like i said my 161s feel fine.

go w/ the 178s. you wont regret it. im 5'11" and im on 171 but i need bigger. the centermount makes them feel small

Go with the 171.  It would be a hugely different feel for you to add almost 20 cm to your park skis, no matter how light they are.  If you are currently feeling good on a 161, a 171 would be just right (especially at your size).

i would agree with this but if your gonna grow to 5'10-6' then i would go 178. if you dont grow that much then stick with 171.

karma is just a way to thank people for helping or "make them more legit". kind of a way to put a number score on how you contribute to the site in a way.

theres no more questions. its not like theres a whole variety of sizing for the skis to match your specific height. if your 5'7-5'10, 171 will work. if your taller than that 178 is the only option.
