That question is just too vague.  There are so many different factors which play a role in answering with any real credibility.  Different strokes for different folks, and conditions/rocker profile/etc etc etc.  So if you are using this to help you in a purchase, you really need to give a lot more info.   If you are just using this as a discussion of ski popularity than totally disregard what I have said.

Ski nothing but bottomless pow?  Have to ski through chopped up crud?  Need a hard charger vs a playful softy?  See those are usually going to have different skis which work best.

I remember when you only had one edge choice and you got cracked edges all the time and no one cared.
You dont need sharp edges on the JJ for its intended use, so edge cracking isnt that big a deal on rails, I am sure they slide just great. They are on the heavy side though... personal preference I guess.

JJ's are on the light side, they weigh 6.75 lbs a pair which is damn light for a relatively stiff rockered ski that's 115 underfoot. JJ's are fine in the park, I have my edges pretty sharp so i haven't taken them on rails but they feel fine in the air they just don't like super hardpack landings, they tend to want to go different directions on landing

I think your very wrong about that. Pontoons are the best for pure pow in my opinion. But they suck to spin on being mounted so far back on them, and switch in the pow is a chalenge with them. But for just charging pow and big lines, PONTOONS hands down.

But I do think ARG's would be very fun for a pow/booter ski.

And you should have really read what I posted.  People base buys off of opinions, and that would require some info on what type of conditions/other factors to get honest opinions based on the criteria.  Didn't want someone buying the wrong ski possibly because of people blurting out their choice that fits their particular skiing, but not his.   If you read my post you would have seen that I said if he just wanted to know the popularity of the skis (aka opinions) that he should totally disregard my post.

Since I know now that he just wanted to have a poll just to have a poll, I wouldn't have posted that to him.  Wasn't calling him out or anything.  Personally I don't believe there is just a clear best because it's too varied.   I love one ski in certain conditions and love another in different conditions.

i respectfully disagree. I traded my friend for his ARGs and gave him my hellbents and i thought my hellbents floated better which really suprised me.

How flexible are they. I just ordered a pair and have been hearing a bunch of stuff about how they are crazy stiff and not good for backcountry jumps or jibbing. I hope they are wrong but am starting to wonder if the LL2's would've been more my thing...

These are definitely the stiffist ski I've ever owned. Except they're amazing for jumps. I have Dukes on them and I go backcountry all the time on them and I can maneuver just fine. As for the jibbing, I have no idea, since I don't hit rails at all.

LL2 FTW. Hellbents are a joke compared to these beauties. I skiied my Hellbents for a season and half, and sold them the first day I demoed LL2's. Far superior edge control, lighter, lower swing weight, overall WAY more versatile. I just rode the best 3 days of my life yesterday and the days before, and I would have been pissed if I had to ride Hellbents knowing what the LL2's are capable of.
