so i have the chance to be sponsored by some local ski shops but dont really kno how the process works. I kno the whole point is to rep the shops at like comps and shit. would i get paid or get free shit?..and im not  all about, money and free stuff. i love to ski

if the shop is offering to sponsor you, then ask them about your sponsorship and the policy with free shit etc.

Generally you would get a hookup on gear in exchange for you repping the store and getting some good PR out there for them

99% sure you won't be paid

a local shop would probably give you some discounts, free stickers, but you wont get paid
