09 Line Blend Mounting Point

I just picked up a pair of 2009 Line Blends in 178. I am 5' 11" and 180lbs. I
ski mostly on the east coast in the trees. These are going to be my powder/soft
snow skis. I will not ski park too often on this ski so I do not want to go center (and don't want any tip dive issues in powder). The
recommended mounting point is 78mm back from center. Does any one have any
experience with mounting points on these skis? Any advice would be appreciated.

i have a pair of the 183's mounted one inch back from dead center. they are my all mountain/park/whatever ski. they ride awesome that way for pretty much everything (especially park). but i have other skis for deep snow and whatnot so i wouldn't recommend that you mount yours that way. if you're just going to be skiing trees and other east coast there is really no reason for you to mount them anywhere but suggested. i've skied them that way and they rip, they're just a little less than ideal for big jumps and rails, but that shouldn't be an issue for you. go suggested. you'll be stoked.
