Hey guys I was at the Downtown Showdown last night in Monument Square located right in downtown Portland, Maine. I was out there repping Park2peak.com and I must say it was a great time. Good music, great turn out and some talented kids.
There were maybe 1000 or so people that turned out to root on the homegrown talent that showed what they had. There were a couple flips thrown off the rails.. pretty entertaining to some people who haven't seen what these kids can do on the slopes. There was also a few girls competing against the guys which was nice to see.
Also nice to see how many people were pumped to get out on a Valentines Night and watch some 30 foot staircase. Jibbing and Skiing in the Portland area is definitely growing fast!
