Replying to How to get more partial credit on tests
I say this as I am in the middle of grading 108 calc II tests:
PLEASE, when you are writing down your answers be as neat and logical as possible. It's more likely I will take points off from someone who is all over the place, doesn't circle the final answer and puts it in the middle of a bunch of scribbling, and leaves incorrect work on the test (instead of erasing or crossing it out). I'm not saying I don't give partial credit, all I'm saying is please make sure your work is neat and logical or the person grading may have a hard time following what you did, and you might get gypped out of a few points.
Being neat and logical makes it easier for you to figure out the problem, and easier for the grader to give you points.
