Anthems

i have the new 09 anthems and have only had them for about a month and a half. i have thrashed them pretty bad, one of my skis pooped and a boarder ran over it. a chunk of of his edge got jammed through the side of my new skis. i find that my anthems have gotton pretty torn up. i was just wanted to know if anybody else had any torn up anthems they seem to not be that tough. they are a great ski but the seem like they can't take a beating.

Are line skis in general fairly weak? Cause I was reading a post about some guys who cracked a pair of invaders on the first day. They are super buttery, but they seem to get thrashed easy.

i ride invaders and a couple of my friends ride anthems, and in my experience they are pretty tough. mine have taken a hell of a beating and still look and work fine

I've had the same invaders for three years now and i beat the hell out of them bonking, stalling and sliding all sorts of things from rocks to ice and tree stumps and there still in great shape. I have always rode line skis and i have never had a problem with them getting beat up, they build great skis that last a long time.

my bindings tore out of mine on my second day on them, but it turns out that was my shops fault for not screwing them in properly, i love my anthems all the same

My anthems have held up pretty good and I use them on my summer set up too. This is my second pair of line skis and it seems like 1 good hard season is all they last but what else could you ask for.

dont get me wrong i love my anthems they just dont seem tough but they are a great ski and my next ski buy will lines probley the new anthems.

i ski 80+ days all park on ice, rocks, and grass. my anthems have lasted a season in a half so far and still ride great. didn't even need to mount my 09's. while i had 2 pairs of armadas delam. thanks line!

line skis are sick, i have skied 50 + days on my wolf anthems and they are still goin strong.  I've run over more than a few trees and rocks and none of the gashes on them are deep enough to ptex.  the topsheet has some nicks but who gives a fuck?

mine are holding strong. no core shots and only a few base scratches from jibbin on an old toolbox with rusty nails stickin out. topsheets are holding super strong on mine too. also (not trying to thread jack) but are the 08-09 invader bases softer than the 07-08 cause my freinds 08-09 invaders bases have one core shot and tons of dent like things and i ride 10x harder than him.

my anthems are holding up extremely well, ive been beating the shit outta them and theyre still is pretty good shape. sorry about your bad luck

I've got the 08 ones. They're pretty fucking sturdy. The top sheet scratches fairly easily but thats not a biggie. I love em

the bottoms of mine are fine, but the tops are chipping and delamming some but whatever... it doesnt matter cuz i dont ski on tops of my skis. they work great fucking love the skis otherwise

I have the 08 ones ( i think, they're the ones with the wolfs) and they are holding up pretty well. The top sheet has some damage, but nothing that a few drips of epoxy haven't been able to to fix (in fact the damage didn't even go past the epoxy layer around the core so it probably could have been left alone with no problems). The bases on the skis are whats really impressed me, I took some crazy hard hits on them to rocks  where I was sure I had ripped an edge out, or at the very least gotten multiple core shots, but upon inspection there was no damage except some gouges in the ptex, NOTHING to the core.

So based on my experiences with them, I would say they are pretty durable, at least where it counts.
