I have just purchased one. I am wondering if anybody has any recomendations or helpful hints for me. I am looking to try to get off the ground with HD video. Hopefully if it all goes well I will upgrade to a prosumer camcorder- thanks

hmm, manual focus is through the screen, so whats that knob for next to the lens?

if its the camera im thinking about, then there should be a button on that knob... if you press it, it sets manual focus and you can play around with the focus with the knob
