i tottaly agree with you, most of the finalist have the same style, expect for martin and holson. i like seing someone do grab his skis more than someone doing a huge spin on a rail and not even jibbing it. Style and diversity are the reasons why skiing is such a great sport and when everyone copies everyone it just makes boring

i dont think laker should win because he's 15...i think he should win because his style is sick and he throws down the sickest shit i saw in the whole contest. although tim wins with his urban stuff, all the minnesota shit was so, so, so sick.

Agreed. Age is just a number. In previous posts when I've mentioned that he was 15, it wasn't like oh he's 15 so give him a handicap, it was this kid fucking kills it and i can't believe he is only 15!?!?

And if Laker could have taken a trip halfway across the country to shoot urban, I'm sure he could have been up there with McChesney too...

the more and more i watch them i like holsons better and better. he did some stuff in the BC which is way harder to stomp if youve ever hit a BC booter, and his style is just so so sick. the more i watch laker on rails, the more he reminds me of martini and henrik.

I don't understand why age is a problem. The kid just kills it, I see him every day at my hill and not letting somebody win because of age? If you don't recall Duncan Adams was in Turbo and he is around 15,16 so why would laker not be up there with him too? And if you don't think that Laker could hit 80 ft. booters and huge rails, you are absoultely wrong.

agreed, i thought it was gonna be warnick, owens, and some french kid (bullet i guess) that would be top contenders. i think bullet will win, he should win he is the most rounded as for style and tricks although holsons edits fun to watch and tim mc is just insane though

he actually ran into Berman driving past a shoot, and requested that his edit never be released, so he can continue to fly under the radar, and make heads turn on chairlifts as people think "dayyyyum who's that thug muthafucka holdin his grab like it owe him child support?!"  he's given up skiing and talking with people to keep his rep intact

I really don't know what the point of that post was... I was simply stating that Tim had the resources to travel half way across the country to get some shots. Laker didn't have the opportunity to travel somewhere afar to get some urban shots. I'm sure if Laker was able to shoot urban in an area with SNOW his urban segment in his edit would have been at a much higher caliber than it already was.
