Is it just me or does anyone else just fucking hate how overrated and Ridiculous valentines day is?

I mean sure its cool if you got a girl and you do something cute with her but people make seem like if you dont got a girl or a date or whatever, your some kind of fucking loser......anyone else agree with me or am i just a gay-ass party pooper?

i was gonna go out for a gf just for shits but everything was so crowded that we just went to the grocery store and made our own dinner which was awwwwwweeesome. i skied all day with friends then mowed on some wine at night. if you love someone show them everyday. otherwise feb 14th is a great day to shred with friends

valentines day gives people a reason to show the person they love a litle extra... we shouldnt need a day to do that but we have one so we might as well take advantage of it... guys get mad cuz they have to buy girls flowers but it works out for them cuz they get laid. so i think its a win win unless your single.

the plan was for me to ski all day. but friday the 13th screwed me over so i was at home all day with a bunk ankle. i cant ski for 2 weeks and i think im going to go insane. i ended up watching the fountain alone and eating cookies that my friends brought over for me for valentines day....

....and now im watching the fountain again and watching the snow fall outside my window and getting texts from people telling me how good the skiing is...so im not a happy camper

My girlfriend and I both think Valentines day is stupid as fuck.  Just happened to be home from college to see her this weekend and we're going to dinner but it has nothing to do with Valentines day.
It's just a stupid ass made up holiday.  I dunno why people make such a big deal about it.  I guess it's like a status thing to say you have a date on Valentines day.  Nobody even remembers who or what they did a week later so it's really just a big hoax and a way for hallmark and flower shops to make money.
